What are the check-in and departure times?

You can check in from 3pm and we ask that you vacate your property by 10am.

Where can I get the keys from?

10 days before you arrive we will send you arrival instructions. This will give you the code to the key box of the property you are staying in.

Do you supply a welcome pack?

Tea, coffee, sugar and a packet of biscuits to start your holiday.

We also provide paper towels, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls and cleaning materials.

All the properties provide ample facilities including cooking & tableware, washing/drying facilities, linen and bedding to make your stay with us as easy as possible.

Where can I park?

Our self-catering properties are located in the historic lanes area of Lerwick, where parking is limited.

The Watchmakers, 4 Law Lane & Muckle Neeb, 3 Law – has no immediate parking outside the property, you will be able to drop off and collect from Mounthooly Street. The nearest free parking is Church Road car park or on the Hillhead, located at the top of Law Lane. You may also use the pier car park for £1.00 per hour or all day for £4.00.

The Bakers (12 Mounthlooly Street) – has limited spaces at the top of the lane. Drop off and collection available just outside the property. The nearest free parking is Church Road car park. You may also use the pier car park for £1.00 per hour or all day for £4.00.

The Captains (7 Navy Lane) – There’s no immediate parking outside the cottage . Best parking can be found on the Hillhead.

Sea Gaet & Peerie Neeb – No immediate parking outside the property, best parking is in Church Road car park(free) which can be accessed either from the green facing the properties or via Commercial Street/Church Road.

Mounthooly Apartment – has limited spaces at the top of the lane. Drop off and collection available just outside the property. The nearest free parking is Church Road car park. You may also use the pier car park for £1.00 per hour or all day for £4.00.

Is the heating and electric included?

Yes, each property has radiators or storage heaters which you can adjust to your comfort. The Bakers and The Captains have electric fires in the living areas. Please see individual properties for full descriptions.

Can you provide a travel cot/high chair?

Yes just let us know when making your booking. We can provide linen with the travel cot.

Is there Wifi?

Yes all our property have free Wifi.

Are longer term lets available?

Yes certainly, please contact us with your requirements.

Do any of the properties have disabled access?

I’m afraid that due to the location of all the properties none of them have level access. All properties have steep stairs. The Bakers does have two en-suite bedrooms on the ground floor. If you require further information please email or call us.

Can I bring my pet?

Only in the Captain’s property do we allow pets. We welcome up to two medium sized dogs by prior arrangement.
Dogs must not be left unattended unless crated.
